Choose the work you need off your desk
If your team already manages supplier quotations and labour pricing, delegate a defined quantity package. If you also need cost development, agree a full-estimate scope covering material, labour, equipment, allowances and exclusions. If an estimate already exists, define the sections and assumptions that need review.
Make scope boundaries visible before counting
Provide the electrical drawings, specifications and addenda, with the issue dates your bid must follow. Identify lighting, power, distribution and other expressly included systems. Separate owner supply, vendor packages, utility work and specialist interfaces. Unresolved boundaries should become review questions rather than silent assumptions.
Keep your company’s pricing decisions explicit
Identify the supplier quotations and labour/productivity assumptions to use. Agree who reviews quote expiry, alternate prices, overhead, contingency and markup. A takeoff or estimate can support the decision, but it does not replace your knowledge of the installation plan or your approval of the final bid.
Define the deliverable you will actually review
Discuss quantity breakdowns, cost summaries, assumptions, exclusions and open questions before commissioning. The sample page shows an illustrative structure, not a guaranteed export format or completed client project. Your accepted quotation defines actual outputs, schedule, fee and revision terms.
Start with a project brief, then share documents securely

Can I request a takeoff without a full estimate?
Yes. Agree the systems, quantities, units and breakdowns you need. Pricing is separate unless expressly included.
Can VOLT X submit the bid for me?
Your company reviews, approves and submits its final tender. A quote enquiry does not transfer that responsibility.
What if the drawings change?
Changes can require additional work. See the revision policy; any extra charges are communicated for approval before work proceeds.

Tell Liam the project location, requested support and bid deadline with time zone. You can request CAD or USD; the written proposal confirms currency, deliverables, fee and schedule. After reviewing the brief, we will invite designated contacts to a Google Drive folder for drawings and specifications. Do not submit drawings through this website.
